Did you know that the word LOVE is mentioned in the Bible 314 times, FRIEND 56 times. Last Wed, I had to speak at the See You At The Pole. Completely scared the living daylights outta me. I am not one to speak in front of people. My topic was school, so I went with the friends thing, after all they are the ones who put the most pressure on us. Judging who we talk to, how we talk, dress etc.. They are also the ones to put pressure on us to do things we don't want to do. So as my circle got larger, I became more nervous and to be honest I don't know that I got my point across. I made it through the morning, so that in itself is a great accomplishment.
I try to express to the youth group about how important love is, if we all love each other which might sound corny, but all other things will work out. Not to say that we have to let people run us over and do things we don't feel comfortable doing.
Pray for our youth, they really have a tough time, just being themselves. Pray for our church and that God will provide us with a music leader and give the youth a Youth pastor, not just a leader.

Blogging
I haven't blogged in forever it seems, usually forget about it. I don't want to have a blog where I am constantly gripping about the daily goings on in my life.
I do have to admit that facebook seems to have taken the place of this site.
I am currently praying for a new job, one that will still be with the city, I won't lose any of my years of service etc.. Just depends on if the current court clerk can retire early. It would mean working daytime hours only, holidays and weekends off. I could actually have a life again. May be able to lose some weight, work out and maybe even work out with my kids.
So anyway that said if you read this post say a quick prayer that I can move into the position.
Thank you and may you have a blessed day!

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together, never to be separated again. Saying Goodbye is never easy, especially to a four legged family member. That sweet personality can never be replaced. Dazz will be in our hearts forever.

Been a while..
It's been a while since I've blogged. LONG while. I can't really say that alot has happened. My baby started first grade and my sweet daughter started high school. I pray the dramas of being a teenage girl are easy on her. I know some girls can be so petty and childish.
I had an awesome time at church last night. Got a much needed blessing. I'm gonna hold on to it with both hands and feet, like a monkey hanging on a tree.
I know I have a purpose in this life, I'm just not sure what that is yet. Hopefully I will find my way there.
I have agreed to help a lady with school pictures. Its a pretty big job, hopefully I do a good job. I'm a little nervous, trying not to be. Gonna be a long week, working 11-7 then taking pictures, sleep, try to attend the revival and work again.. I pray God gives me rest when I can get it.
Love you all, God Bless!!

OMG.....
We got a call this morning, a couple found a 2 year old walking down the road, no one around. No houses close. Turned out he was about 1/2 to 3/4 mile from where he was staying. He was within a 1/4 of a mile from a low water bridge. He was barefoot, wearing jammies, top was half-way on. And as if that's not bad enough, he was left in the care of his fourteen year old sister whose LIVING with her boyfriend. Oh did I mention that she's almost NINE months pregnant and her boyfriend is 16.
I can't even begin to describe how sick I felt looking at her. Who do you blame, I can tell you who I blame.. HER MOTHER! She's not old enough to even date, shouldn't even be alone with a boy.
All I could think was my 14 year old at home sleeping and how sweet and innocent she is. I know this because she's rarely outta my sight. I always know where she is and I also talk to her. Right now she thinks the whole idea of sex is gross and I want to keep it that way til she's 25 or 30.
The little boy was the cutest, could say a few words, so many things could've happened to him. People fly down the road he was walking on. I keep thinking of all the things that could've happened to him. But I know he was in God's hands. I pray that CW does their job and that he remains safe.

Completely Grossed Out
A little bit ago, I answer the phone. On this shift, during this time of week its usually an ambulance call or SO checking warrants. I see an out of area, heck outta state number, just figure its an alarm call.
Yeah an alarm of a different sort. I answered Police Dept. The sick male proceed to ask me if I can handle what he's got, among a few others that I can't stand the thought of repeating. I kept telling the guy he had the wrong number and that this was a police department. Guess that excited him more. I cover the mouth piece and yell for the officer in the back and the guy starts repeating what he said to me. Phone call ended with the officer saying sure come on by the PD and lets see what you got.
I ran the number thru the computer and the only thing I could get was it was a cell phone from around the Washington DC area. So if some guy comes in here with his goods hanging out. I will find a cattle prod and give the guy something to really get off on and locate the officer for telling him to come on down.
So that said I really feel the need to bathe.
