T-Ball

I've been playing a little ball with Chase, Me and Bethany made it fun, he accidently hit her once, thought it was funny. So then on he tried to get "bonus" points.
At practice Friday night, I told his coach that we'd been trying batting left handed. He made two really good hits batting left, of course Boo and I cheered him on.
They were practicing catching fly balls (mini) and he caught one. The look on his face was priceless, he was shocked and amazed. It was awesome. He still says I did good huh mama. He's been so excited and wants to play every day.
I'm so ready.

JOM Art

Bethany attended the JOM art awards banquet today in Tulsa. She won first in her division, prize was 50 bucks. Here's her art, they had these as placemats on tables so she brought a few home. I think they're pretty cool and wanted to share with family.

Crazy Kids

I picked Bethany up from school yesterday and she was talking bout this boy who has a very high opinion of himself. She was turned around in class talking to him and her teacher said I know you want him Bethany but turn around. He of course is like yeah she wants me. Her teacher said she was sorry...... Anyway as we were leaving, the whole group of kids were heading to extended care and this boy drops his coat and bends over to pick it up as we turn close to him and given this little grin. I bust out laughing. It was like something a girl would do. I'm laughing so hard I can't breathe and Bethany is so embarassed. I don't her that looked like some crazy move her dad would pull.
I hadn't laughed so hard in I don't know when.

Easter

Gordy and his crew came down for Easter, we had a good time. Went out to the park to take pictures. It was windy and a little too cold to be without a coat, my opinion. Then we went to Brenda's, had dinner and the kids hunted eggs.

After the kids were dressed, I realized that we had matched Bethany and Chase with the red tops. Wasn't trying and then I had white pants, black and white blouse and red heels, so I guess we all did the matchy, matchy thing. Well except for Gordon.

But you know those are some good looking kids if I do say so myself.

Bethany insisted that we take pictures with Adrianna... both Gordon and I hate hate hate taking pictures....

Adrianna looked so adorable, I think she picked up the same 4 eggs several times. She'd pick one up then set it down or it would roll out of her basket

Happy Birthday Jacque

Its hard to believe that the sweet, funny little girl who stole my heart at 3 years of age is now 21 years old. She had a head full of curls and at first called me "She wa" tried for months to get her to say La, but no such luck. She now has an equally adorable daughter. And I think she works too hard.

So anyway Happy Birthday Jacque I love you dearly.

I wish I had the words to let you know how much you mean to me. I wish I could've given you the strength to fight. With all the wishes that I have. I know you are happy and exactly where you want to be.

I think about you everyday and I miss you so very much. I know that if I only look, you are here with me always.

I write you letters alot, I'd like to think that you could read them.

The other day I pulled your old sweater from my closet and I swear it smelled just like your perfume. I haven't worn it so I know it was yours. Plus I don't think they make you're perfume anymore. I nearly cried.

I wonder how you'd react at being 57???

Nosey - Update

When I got up this afternoon I talked to all of the girls and hopefully put the fear of God into them. I explained that anyone can locate a person by their phone number and they all three just dropped their jaws!! Its really a scary world and I want her to be brave but be afraid at the same time if that makes any sense. Being afraid will make her more aware of whats going on around her. I told her that something happened to me as a child and that you can't trust everyone. Sadly true.
I called this guy and he wouldn't answer the phone. I left a threatening message. Then told Gordon about the deal and he tried to call the number several times.
She got another message this morning and the girls texted back that he had the wrong number to stop texting. I told her that it proved that once he got my message that he knew she was underaged and still texted back this morning. Told them not to ever do it again, and that if anyone done it again I would come down extremely hard on them.
